Finally got around to rearranging and organising my gallery into categories and folders, easier to  browse now.

Anyone who read my last journal entry will know that I was seriously disappointed when I had first begun my a-level Fine Art, unfortunately the disappointment hasn't disappeared. Since then it has only confirmed my decision that, after years of indecisiveness, that I won't try and pursue some sort of art-related career, it is a personal driven thing and I want to keep it that way. However, I am enjoying my other a-levels (subject wise, not work-load and stress wise though!). But college still sucks.

Seriously disappointed with a-level art, it's made me re-think my career path for the millionth time. I don't think I'll ever amount to anything but moleskin doodles, documentary watching and   being miserable.

I was very shocked that I didn't fail anything as I was certain I had done terribly, however:

I'm now an official college student, woop.

So I should be more active from september onwards.
However I have lots of free time for drawing already and I should be submitting more regularly.

I mean,  I draw every day - except it's inside my school books.
I feel inspired all the time but I'm just weighed down with all the pressure of GCSE exams, coursework and pressure blah blah.

Last week I saw My Chemical Romance for the second time! So I intend to do some more fan art.

I've also recently been commissioned to paint a father who recently passed away.

I've finally decided that art is the route I am taking in life and what not; I initially intended to become a science teacher, but life has inconveniently been harsh to put it one way and my health no longer allows me to cope with such academic pressures.

I love art and I want to focus on it as it's the best therapy, the best medicine and the best distraction for me.

I'm now taking Fine Art as an A-level (as well as biology, english language and psychology) and hope to pursue it in university too and get a post 16 teaching degree(:

Only a couple of months left of high school, I can't wait for college.

But anyway, I should hopefully be uploading more now that I am focusing on my GCSE art exams etc.

Seems I have not uploaded in quite some time over the last few months.
I haven't been drawing/painting all that much.
It wasn't exactly an art block; I have lots of emotions and inspiration.
But yeah for reasons I shan't go into I haven't done much, sorry about that.
I've uploaded some photos but as soon as my traditional art gets back into the swing of things I'll continue not uploading my 'photography' here.

I'm starting a human anatomy series though.

On an (exceedingly) brighter note, I am going to experience the best night of my life so far on Sunday.

So I just want to say thank you to all the people who've critiqued, faved, commented or watched me, and thanks to all those amazing artists that happily share tips and do tutorials etc :'] I got a really nice comment today, and it cheered me up, because earlier in the day some stupid chavs threw snowballs at my friend because they think he's gay [they've never even talked to the guy.] and I stuck up for him, which they didn't like so DUN DUN DUN we got snow flicked at us [crap aim I must add.] He's not even gay though, and even if he was I wouldn't care. We're decorating downsatirs, so atm my Dad has put the printer like in the attic... meaning... we have no scanner *cries* so all my rubbish art will look even more horrendous as the quality of my phone camera just... fails. Real bad. Ohhh well.

I've got tonnes to do aswell ._.
Teachers are really nice because they give you loads of exams and homework just before christmas(: PFFT. ¬_____¬

Examsssss, I had my gcse biologye exams the other week, I thought they went fine [don't get results to January! D:] and then I had my singing exam on thursday which I think went okay too [don't get results for two weeks ¬_¬] and my next gcse history assignment is coming up soon :s

I have my GCSE Biology exams tomorrow [b1a + b1b] I've been revising like crazy, and being doing so many mocks. I did another two mocks today [one in B1a, and one in B1b] and got 20/24... TWO A*'s!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOO I'd gotten an A* in my mocks before, but this is the day before the exam so it's great to get them in both!

So yeah feeling a little relieved and more calm now, hopefully tomorrow goes well!

AND I did a maths test yesterday... got 100% O: I'm really proud of that because I'm rubbishhhh at maths and I hate it, so all is good(:

Right, got to go to some stupid english homework - byee!

Appreciate digital art |: You know, like the computer edited stuff :/
Like, it's amazing + I could never do it, but nothing amazes me more seeing what people can do with pencils + a pot of paint. I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned when it comes to art. Don't get me wrong, I have seen some phenomenal stuff done on photoshop etc but... I think everyone can learn how to do that; whereas traditional art is much more natural. Like if I click on a page, and see it's just digital art/photoshop edits I rarely look through the gallery because i've seen so many similar ones before, it has to really catch my eye for me to like it (that means if I've commented your digital art you're special ) Sorry if I've offended anyone btw :s Anyone feel the same?

Anyway, I've been really ill so I haven't submitted much or done much in a bit. :/ I've also been off school for two days which infuriates me, as much as I hate school, I cannot miss lessons at this moment because I have GCSE exams like next week

I've got a whole english essay to write for tomorrow :/ I haven't even started it ¬.¬

Good news.... hm... oh yeah, I bought the new kerrang... AND IT HAD AN MCR BIT IN IT So I shall be cutting it up and sticking it on my wall shortly(:

Went to an art shop yesterday, they had nothing I needed.
No bristol paper. No 0.9 mechanical pencils [they had 0.5 and 0.7 *eye twitch*). No kneaded eraser. And everything they had that I need was so expensive ¬_¬ Canvases were such a rip off. So I bought the 0.5 mech pencils, and some new colouring pencilsss [the latest doodle in my scrapbook was created with them xD]

Hmm. I finally found a competition to enter(:

I really must do a proper portrait some time soon, but I lack time.
